I, ELLIS R. JONES ( FLOSSIE ) happen to be chosen by my peers (ACTING CAPTAIN), along with CO-CAPTAIN Norman ( KAKI ) Bates in 1950, when the football record was set. Our team was credited with 11-0 record ( STATE CHAMPS ).
