I was born and educated in Greenville, N. C. I worked as a nurse for Greenville Family Doctors before I married James T. Boyd, and moved to Newport, N. C. We have 2 sons, one daughter and one grandson. I worked as a nurse for Dr. Charles Aquadro in Beaufort, N. C. for 22 years until he closed his practice. I also have an associate degree in Business Management. I volunteered for the Newport VIPS program in 2005. I am enjoying working in the office at the Newport Police Department. My husband and I enjoy dancing, gardening and RVing.

My favorite game is bridge.
